First and foremost: If you get a "token invalid" error, it is because the email link to download the plans has expired. Jump on over to the website and complete the checkout process again.

If you go through the checkout process, you will receive an email (usually within minutes) of your order with plans provided as a PDF file. PDF stands for Portable Document File. It is a versatile file format created by Adobe that allows me to present and share documents exactly as intended, regardless of the device, software, or operating system used to view them. “lol” right?

There are millions of things that could go wrong between my computer and yours. EVERYTHING listed in the printable is also included below. Described is the “My Document Wont Download / I Cant Find It” and “Downloads Correctly, But I have Printing Issues”.

MY DOCUMENT WONT DOWNLOAD / I CANT FIND IT

Mobile Device: (android, tablet, iPhone, iPad)

On your device you should have a default file application to view saved or downloaded files. Open that application, and look for a “downloads”, “recent” or, in some cases, your device will save files to a dedicated folder for the app used, (example: “chrome” or “safari”)

More troubleshooting

Start by restarting your device and checking for a stable Wi-Fi/mobile data connection.

Clear Storage Space: Check your device storage (via Settings > Battery and device care or Storage). Android needs free space to process and save files.

Review App Permissions & Data: Go to Settings > Security and privacy > Auto blocker and toggle off Maximum restrictions. If using a browser like Google Chrome, ensure it has permission to access your device’s storage.

Check for Malware Blocks: Sometimes, Google Chrome blocks downloads if it suspects the file is deceptive or malicious.

Windows Computer

On your device you should have a default file application to view saved or downloaded files. Open that application, and look for a “downloads”, “recent” or, in some cases, your device will save files to a dedicated folder for the app used, (example: “chrome” or “safari”)

More troubleshooting:

Download Location: Open your Web browser, Press Ctrl + J to open the downloads, or click the three dots in the top-right corner and select Settings. Go to the Downloads tab. Ensure the Location is valid. Click Change and create or select a known, accessible folder on your computer.

Antivirus: Some antivirus software might block downloads from websites or unknown senders via email. Review your settings to check for potential blocks.

Apple Computer or MAC

On your device you should have a default file application to view saved or downloaded files. Open that application, and look for a “downloads”, “recent” or, in some cases, your device will save files to a dedicated folder for the app used, (example: “chrome” or “safari”)

More troubleshooting:

Check Storage Space: Make sure your Mac has enough free space. Go to the Apple menu > About This Mac > Storage (or System Settings > General > Storage). If your drive is full, downloads will fail.

Check Permission Settings: Go to System Settings > Privacy & Security > Files and Folder. Ensure your web browser has permission to access the Downloads or Desktop folders.

Check the Download Location: Your browser may be trying to save to a deleted folder or an unmounted external location. Open your browser/email preferences and change the download destination to your Desktop.

DOWNLOADS CORRECTLY, BUT I HAVE PRINTING ISSUES

Mobile Device: (android, tablet, iPhone, iPad)

Open your PDF and tap the Share Icon (the square with an arrow pointing up). Select Print from the options. On the Printer Options screen, you will see a preview of your document. Look for a Scale Setting or Options. Change the scale from “Scale to fit” to “100%” or “Actual Size”.

Windows Computer:

If your document shrinks slightly, the printer might be trying to protect against clipping the edges. In the Print Dialog, make sure Actual Size or Custom Scale: 100% is checked. If you want it to fill the page, choose Fit, but be aware it may slightly alter the scale.

If your Printout is cut off on the sides or vastly distorted, the page size in your print settings doesn’t match the paper loaded in the printer. Press Ctrl + P, click on the Properties (or Preferences) button next to your printer’s name, and look for the Paper Size of Advanced settings. Ensure it matches the paper size you are printing on (such as letter or A4).

Apple Computer or Mac:

Using Apple’s Preview (Default Mac Viewer): Open the PDF and press Command + P to open the print dialog. If you don’t see all the print settings, click Show Details at the bottom of the window. Look for the Scale or Scale to Fit option. Set the scale to 100% or select Actual Size (sometimes labeled as “none”). Verify that the Paper Size drop-down perfectly matches the physical paper you are printing on (such as US Letter 8.5x11).

Using Adobe Acrobat or Reader: Press  Command + P to bring up the print window. In the Page Sizing and Handling section, select Actual Size. Ensure the preview box does not show unwanted white borders.

NOTE: If your device’s print menu lacks a 100% option, you may need to open and print the PDF using a dedicated app like Adobe Acrobat or another PDF viewer (download on the app store). Otherwise, manufacturer apps provide much better control over specific print dimensions, paper types, and margins. Download your printer brand’s app (e.g. HP Smart, Canon PRINT, or Brother iPrint&Scan). Open the PDF directly inside the manufacturer’s app, which has built in features optimized for your exact printer model to prevent clipping.
